Debut album was a complete successSince the founding of the five-strong music group Kraftklub, a lot has changed for frontman Felix Brummer. The singer is not only incredibly successful with his boys, but also released his debut album “KIOX” under his alter ego (Felix) KUMMER. The work was released on October 10, 2019, and was initially only sold in his own shop in Chemnitz. "Come on everyone, it's going to be wild. If you can't make it to the store in Chemnitz, you can have the record sent to you. But either way: The album is not available anywhere else but at 'KIOX'. Unfortunately, our rental contract only lasts until October 13th, after which our room closes,” explained the musician and was subsequently delighted with the great response. "The shop has been open for two days now and it's just crazy what's happening here. People travel from Bremen, Heidelberg and Switzerland. Then another two hours in line. Thank you for giving yourself this. I've now signed albums for a total of 16 hours and I'm okay with signing with my left hand now. Tomorrow is the last day, then the shop closes again. […] I don't even know what to say. Seems we just sold a number one album out of what used to be a pub. Thanks to everyone who came to the store in Chemnitz. Thanks to everyone who ordered my album and thanks to everyone who listened to it. Really means a lot to me [sic]."

But that shouldn't have been it: KUMMER itself was also able to place "KIOX" at the top of the German charts and then thanked all fans again.

Rap Culture and TourWith his debut album, KUMMER will also be touring from November 26th to December 14th, 2019, before continuing his "KIOX" concert tour between March 13th and 29th, 2020. In order to be able to promote those gigs properly, the "How much is your outfit worth?" interpreter also gave a few interviews and chatted with the teams from "Tagesspiegel" and "Potsdamer Latest News" about his diverse scene, among other things. Most importantly, he praised the genre, admitting, "Hip-hop is as broad as society. […] Maybe a retired rapper is missing. But the images of masculinity that are inherent in rap exist in society as a whole. You only have to look at the care products, which say 'beauty' for women and 'protection' for men."
