"I was incredibly happy to be able to be part of this special television project," says Bülent Ceylan in a ZDF press release. "It is my heart's desire to bring music closer to disadvantaged children and to motivate them, especially now in these difficult times, to see their children laugh and to get something done together with them".

Bülent Ceylan: Socially committed metal fan and violinist

The comedian is involved in his hometown of Mannheim with a children's hospice and in the AIDS service, in nationwide campaigns he campaigns against racism and advertises as an ambassador the Reading Foundation for Reading Competence.

Ceylan is a self-confessed metal fan, but also likes listening to classical music. He learned the violin at school, as he once revealed in an interview with Concerti. Broadcast Easter 2022

"Don't Stop the Music" is to be broadcast in four episodes on ZDF around Easter 2022. In addition to these four episodes, eight more are to be shown in KiKa. Filming for the long-term observation of the 50 or so students has already begun. In addition to Ceylan, the children will be supported by other artists.
