Borealis is pleased to be able to announce the appointment of Jürgen Artner (51) as Operations Manager Polyolefins and Location Leader of the Borealis locations Schwechat (Austria), Monza (Italy) and Wildon (Austria).Jürgen Artner will be his new role with 1.February 2022 and thus replaces Rudolf Sukal, who will retire in the middle of the year.

Jürgen Artner came to Borealis in 2000 and has worked for the company in a wide variety of positions, such as a maintenance engineer, head of the engineering area and as a production manager of the BORSTAR® system in Schwechat.Most recently, as a performance manager for Borealis ’polyethylene systems across Europe.

Artner has a master's degree in mechanical engineering/process technology at the Technical University of Vienna.He is a Austrian citizen, married and father of two children.
