Motorcycle flashed on the run

Görlitz, Zittauer Straße24.10.2021, 1:20 p.m

A motorcycle raced down Zittauer Straße in Görlitz on Sunday afternoon at 128 km/h. The 45-year-old driver was apparently not traveling so fast without reason: a civil patrol from the federal police drove behind the Yamaha FJR 1300 and had already asked the man to stop. However, he accelerated and drove through the speed check. Shortly thereafter, the federal police officers parked the motorcycle on the B 99. The officers confiscated the Pole's driver's license and reported it accordingly.

A speed limit of 50 km/h applies in the area around Zittau Road. During the almost three-hour check, another 16 vehicles were traveling too fast in the area. Those responsible had to pay a fine. (see below)

Cannabis plantation revealed

Investigators from the Weißwasser Criminal Investigation Service uncovered a cannabis plantation on Thursday. During a house search in Krauschwitz, the officials found a total of 28 plants. The two 56 and 25-year-old residents are suspected of violating the Narcotics Act.

Together with forces of the squad and a drug sniffer dog, the police officers also found a few grams of cannabis, shredders, lamps to illuminate the plants and a four-digit amount of cash in small denominations. Law enforcement officers secured the evidence. With the consent of the German suspects, the investigators destroyed a tent that was used to raise the drugs. Investigations into the case continue. Catalytic converters and number plates stolen - two suspects arrested

On Saturday night, two initially unknown suspects violently stole the catalytic converter of a Mercedes and both license plates of an Audi at the Prof.-Wagenfeld-Ring in Weißwasser. A patrol that was deployed immediately located a 25-year-old and a 31-year-old Ukrainian near the scene of the crime. When searching the Audi A6, to which the stolen license plates were attached, the officers found the stolen catalytic converter and the separating tool. They secured the items and took the thieves with them to the station. The uniformed officers treated the suspects as part of the identification service. They took photos and took their fingerprints. Microsleep leads to accident

BAB 4, Görlitz - Dresden, between the Pulsnitz and Ottendorf-Okrilla junctions October 24th, 2021, 7:35 a.m

On Sunday morning, a man apparently fell asleep at the wheel of his van on the A4. Between the Pulsnitz and Ottendorf-Okrilla junctions, the Ford then collided first with the left and then with the right guardrail. The damage to the vehicle and planks was estimated at a total of around 12,000 euros. In the course of the accident recording, it also turned out that the 21-year-old Pole did not have a driver's license. The officials filed a complaint for endangering road traffic and driving without a license.

The highway maintenance department reduced the speed in the area of ​​the accident site to 80 km/h until the crash barriers were repaired. (see below)

Truck too long, too high and on the road on Sundays

Traffic accident with seriously injured person

Intoxicated on the way

Truck tires damaged

...is a 28-year-old Toyota driver in Pulsnitz on Sunday morning. The woman was on Hempelstrasse in the direction of Bischofswerdaer Strasse. Apparently for health reasons, she left the roadway and landed on the wall of an apartment building. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Arrest warrant executed

Exhibitionist on the move again - witnesses wanted

On Sunday afternoon, a suspected exhibitionist appeared again in Hoyerswerda. In the early afternoon, two girls on Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Strasse saw a man watching them from a bush and masturbating. He didn't stop when the two, aged 11 and 13, asked him to. The children ran to a relative, who called the police. When the officers arrived, the stranger had already driven away on a black bicycle in the direction of the Bautzen Bridge.

Thieves steal from apartment

Thief steals cash from a display case - witnesses wanted

Already on Friday, October 8, 2021, an unknown thief made long fingers on an elderly woman from Weißwasser. She rang the 86-year-old's doorbell and offered her sweaters for sale. After a short conversation, she entered the apartment. The injured party informed the supposed seller that she was not interested because she had enough clothes. Out of pity, the pensioner bought a top and even gave the scammer one of her clothes. In a brief unobserved moment, however, the unknown attacked. She stole around 40 euros in cash from the lady's display case and then hurriedly fled.
